GFMA work with artists from around the world, from a diverse range of cultures and creative disciplines, allowing us to offer a unique opportunity to experience the best of a wide variety art forms and traditions.

- We continue to expand our offering and now offer visual arts in our portfolio.
- Historically, Exeter College has had a lively and productive MAD – Music, Arts and Drama – scene.
- World of Art was introduced in 2010 with the aim of bringing the work of contemporary visual artists to the festival.
- It has hosted some of the finest local selectors and internationally-acclaimed DJs alike.
We are part of Arts Together because as a small charity, we know how useful it is to collaborate, be part of something bigger and to learn from others. We are also able to provide on site CPD and wellbeing sessions for teachers and support staff. LU Arts is committed to inclusivity and representing the student community we serve. In May 2021 UMAT presented their first outdoor Jazz event at St John’s Church Garden Waterloo. This not for profit group was founded by vocalist Stephen Pierre in March 2018. Recently, the Exeter College JCR has given money to help fund student productions such as Pussyfooting in 2016, a play which explored gender and performed femininity, and subsequently found success at the Edinburgh Fringe.
While there’s an emphasis on soul, guests can enjoy a heady mix of R&B, dance, jazz, hip hop, blues and pop throughout the year.
